The hotel was very nice although the ride is a bit chalenging. The staff was really nice and the food was wonderful. Hotel is also at a very serene place because Como beneath it is very noisy.

Staff/owner were very helpful. We reached at 8 pm at brunate and there was no convenience from funicorale. So hotel owner came on car to pick us. While going back they also dropped us without charging anything.

Service was most impressing, rooms and bathrooms exellent clean, but beds were hard as most italian beds are. Breakfast good for italian standard. We choosed the hotel on our way throu italian for just one night, for this purpose the way to the hotel was too tricky. But if you like a beautiful view to the Como-see, charming service and good coffe and are not afraide of plaineness you will love the place.
You should be a good mountain-driver and better not a beginner in driving......

Very friendly management couple! Coffee was great, very well looked after. Nice view overlooking Como and distant mountains. Fun drive to get there - make sure you do not have a big car!

The hospitality and service was warm, attentive and friendly. Although budget the room was clean and rustic with a million dollar view! Sharing a bathroom was not at all inconvenient as was it was clean and functional. The location was captivating, high up above Como nestled in the mountain forests but close enough to the town Center of Brunate via a very regular shuttle bus (stopping immediately outside the B&B), which also takes you direct to the Cable Car (Funicular), a fun way to access the town Como below. After a days outing in the heat of the town of Como it was ideal to return to the mountains for a refreshing walk through the mountain treks surrounding the B&B. Highly recommended.

Personal is very very kind and ok, and also breakfast are quite good.
house is very very hard to drive .. you have to be sober and quite a good driver. house is also far away from hill train which conect Como and village Brunate. so you got no many possibilities how to go to Como. Another bad think is that walls in house are so thin like you heard every word of your neighbor.

I am stil in the hotel i stayed longer excellent value for price excellent food and an excellent choice of wine the plein air is invigorating alpine atmosphere and practice from capanna many great trecks to do in the alps and down the lake where you can swim in fact great for outdoor lovers and for city lovers and cultural architectural and artistic retreat Fabulous proximity of city and art leisure with peace and silence to rest after a full day and overall the auberge ambiance somewhat familial in which everybody is looked after for a comfortable and pleasant stay

You feel welcome the moment you enter the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they will do their best to make your stay perfect. Special thanks to the lady of the house who always has a big friendly smile on her face! The views from the hotel are also amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone and I am sure to visit this place again in the future! Beats any big hotel 10-0.

Unique location and amazing views in a typical Italian room that was modern yet still had unspoiled features.
You do need nerves of steel to drive up the hill.

A bit hard to reach, but worth the effort. Great views and reasonably priced given the otherwise very expensive city of Milan. A very romantuc setting too ;)
